After the pitch: give your collaborator a handoff they can use
A practical guide to handing over creator work: clear source files, useful review notes and an agreed route from an edit to publication.

A collaboration becomes real when someone else can pick up the work. An editor needs the right recording. A reviewer needs to know which version they are judging. The person publishing needs to know which file was accepted and where it belongs.
LA DOLCE VICE brings character artwork, recorded material and a planned GTA 6 live stream into the same project. Its preparation records make a useful distinction between an approved source, an intended use and a verified publication. That distinction offers a practical lesson for creators working together: make the next action clear.
The pitch starts the conversation. The handoff starts the work.
Our earlier creator-pitch guide focused on explaining one format and showing how its first piece would work. Once collaborators agree to proceed, the question changes: what does the next person need in order to do their part?
Team Singularity’s current creator call says that scope, deliverables and compensation are agreed separately with selected creators. That is a useful point at which to settle who supplies the material, who reviews it and who publishes the finished result. A promising idea still needs an agreed route to delivery.
Put the source and the purpose together
Consider an illustrative collaboration: an editor is asked to turn a recorded conversation into one short portrait video. This is an example of a working brief, not an announced LA DOLCE VICE assignment.
The handoff could identify the exact source recording, explain the thought the viewer should leave with, and mark a few promising passages with source timecodes. It should also say whether those passages are suggestions or required selections. That gives the editor enough context to make choices without making them guess which decisions are already settled.
Keep the requested outputs equally concrete. If the agreed delivery includes a clean master, an English-captioned version and a subtitle file, name all three. A collaborator should be able to tell when the delivery is complete.
Make feedback point to a moment
“Make it more engaging” leaves the editor to diagnose the whole piece. A note such as “At 00:18, the second explanation repeats the first; keep the smile, then move to the invitation” identifies both the problem and the moment worth preserving. The example gives direction while leaving room for editorial judgement.
Name the version you reviewed and distinguish source timecodes from timestamps in the edit. If a new cut changes the order, yesterday’s 00:18 may refer to something entirely different. Keeping the previous candidate available makes comparison easier.
For recurring characters, include the selected reference alongside the brief. The LA DOLCE VICE passport gives viewers a place to recognise the personas; a clear production reference helps collaborators preserve that same identity.
Finish with a decision and a destination
Approval needs an object: this version, with these words, for this use. An accepted portrait can be a source for a later scene without making that scene approved. A finished export can be ready for review without having appeared on a public account.
A useful completion note therefore identifies the delivered files, the checks performed, any outstanding issue and the person responsible for the next step. If publication is part of the agreement, record the actual public link after it happens.
For creators planning work around a GTA 6 subathon, this small habit matters across long recordings and multiple edits. The audience sees the finished piece. The collaboration works because each person can find the correct material and understand what happens next.
How to follow the plan
The GTA 6 live stream watch guide is the place to find current viewing information. The LA DOLCE VICE homepage brings together the event plan, countdown and social channels.
This journal will follow the preparation as it develops, including the people, decisions and creative work behind the event. More details will be shared as they are ready.
For now, save 18 November at 18:00 CET.
