Four LA DOLCE VICE promos, one smoother ending
Atle approved four LA DOLCE VICE promos after a focused motion revision. Here is what their closing cards can teach creators about readable short videos.

Atle approved four LA DOLCE VICE promos on 3 November: Manifestation, Partners in Crime, Here We Go Again and One Mission. The final change was small and specific. Their closing artwork needed a smoother slow zoom.
The sound and the underlying edits stayed intact. That makes this a useful production example for creators: how do you improve the final seconds of a short video while preserving the parts that already work?
A specific note produces a focused revision
Atle’s feedback identified distracting shaking in the artwork endings. The revision replaced that movement with a centred, gentle push towards the image. The original hook scenes, captions, highlight timings and runtimes remained unchanged.
The four finished promos run from 9 to 14.75 seconds. Their closing artwork occupies roughly the final four to seven seconds, depending on the edit. That is enough time for an unstable movement to compete with the words the viewer is trying to read.
The useful distinction is between energy in the scene and movement in the invitation. A character can deliver the joke; the closing card can give the viewer a steadier place to find the project name and destination.
Move the artwork, keep the information steady
In the approved revision, the artwork grows by just 2.5 per cent across each ending. The movement eases in and out. Titles, date, website address and spoken captions stay in place while the picture moves behind them.
For a creator building an event promo, that separation is worth testing. Start by choosing the information someone must remember. Give those words a stable position, then decide whether the background needs movement at all.
Imagine a closing card for a fictional gaming night: a character portrait, the event name and a viewing address. Try a stationary version and a gentle push-in using the same text. Watch both at phone size and read the address aloud. Choose the version in which the movement helps the image without pulling attention away from the words. This is an editing exercise, not a new LA DOLCE VICE production announcement.
A still frame cannot prove smooth motion
The production record identifies the cause of the earlier stepping: the slow zoom used crop positions rounded to whole pixels. The corrected version calculates each frame from the original artwork with fractional positions, allowing the movement to progress more gradually.
The broader lesson applies even if someone else handles the technical export. A clean screenshot can confirm composition and spelling, but it cannot tell you whether a movement feels smooth. Review the transition into the card, the moving sequence and the final moment before the video stops.
For these four revisions, the editor recorded checks across all 534 end-card frames, alongside checks that the audio and subtitles remained unchanged. Those checks support the focused correction. They do not establish how an audience will respond or imply that the promos have already been posted.
Finish the invitation you started
Our earlier trailer article considered the promise an event trailer makes. This revision deals with the last few seconds of delivering that promise: let the character create interest, then make the next step easy to find.
Team Singularity’s Twisty partnership announcement describes Atle turning character ideas into videos. The four approved promos offer a practical continuation of that creative process: an idea becomes an edit, a specific viewing problem gets identified, and a bounded revision makes the intended presentation clearer.
