Inside LA DOLCE VICE: my GTA 6 subathon from Sicily

Atle explains the LA DOLCE VICE GTA 6 subathon: a relay stream from Sicily, at least 100 planned hours and a story completion ambition.

My home in Sicily is about to become a GTA 6 marathon HQ. So much for peace and quiet.

LA DOLCE VICE is my first stream, and I am starting with a plan that is probably a little overambitious: at least 100 hours of live broadcasting from Seccagrande, with a relay team taking turns at the controller and one shared goal. Complete the GTA VI campaign.

The planned broadcast begins on 18 November 2026 at 18:00 CET. Rockstar currently lists GTA VI for release on 19 November. We will play when the game becomes available to us. The broadcast starts with the build-up, rather than a promise of gameplay before we have access.

What does a GTA 6 subathon look like here?

LA DOLCE VICE is a long-form live event built around GTA VI. The current plan is a minimum of 100 broadcast hours, with a maximum planned duration of 168 hours, or seven full days.

Those are the boundaries of the plan. Within them, the relay format gives the campaign a shared rhythm. When I rest, someone else takes over and keeps the progress moving. Viewers can follow the same attempt across different players, different moments of the day and, inevitably, very different energy levels.

The ambition is to attempt the world’s first livestreamed GTA VI story completion as a relay team. That is a goal we are working towards, not a record we have already earned or an outcome we can guarantee.

Why a relay team?

Because I want this to feel like a shared mission.

The controller changes hands, but the objective stays the same. One person might leave the story in a comfortable place. Another might inherit a situation that requires considerably more explanation. That is part of what makes the format interesting to me.

It also means that resting does not have to bring campaign progress to a stop. LA DOLCE VICE is being planned around people taking turns, rather than one person attempting to carry every hour alone.

I want viewers to be able to leave, come back and feel that they are returning to an ongoing story. The game provides one part of that story. The people in the room provide another.

The first 48 hours belong to GTA VI

The opening 48 hours are planned entirely around GTA VI, starting with the launch build-up and continuing into gameplay once it is available.

After that, the programme opens up. Guests, challenges and Sicilian life will join the broadcast, alongside the campaign. There are surprises and sidequests in preparation, but I want the main promise to remain clear before we reveal the extras.

This is a GTA 6 live stream with a story completion goal. The surrounding programme should add personality to that experience and give people more reasons to return.

Why stream from Sicily?

Because this is where I live, and I want the event to feel like it belongs here.

The broadcast comes from my home in sunny Seccagrande. English will be the main language, with plenty of Italian crossovers. The place, the conversations and the people around me will naturally become part of what viewers see.

The fictional energy of Vice City and the real setting of Sicily give LA DOLCE VICE its starting point. The campaign artwork has fun with that combination. The stream itself will be built around what actually happens here.

How to follow the plan

The GTA 6 live stream watch guide is the place to find current viewing information. The LA DOLCE VICE homepage brings together the event plan, countdown and social channels.

This journal will follow the preparation as it develops, including the people, decisions and creative work behind the event. More details will be shared as they are ready.

For now, save 18 November at 18:00 CET.

Sicily sets the scene.
Vice City takes over.
