Behind the characters: why Atle is making time to play again
After years building in gaming, Atle is making room to play again. A preparation diary on the personal story behind LA DOLCE VICE in Sicily.

The characters introduce a world. Atle’s next personal introduction is being prepared to explain why he wants to spend time in it.
In the creative planning session on 23 October, he returned to a simple reason for building LA DOLCE VICE: after years working in gaming and helping other people pursue their ambitions, he misses making time to play for himself. That is the personal thread behind the GTA 6 subathon taking shape in Sicily.
Working in gaming leaves a different kind of gap
Atle’s account of roughly eleven years in gaming and esports includes building Team Singularity and supporting talent across time zones. Playing on computer and console gradually gave way to the work around games, with mobile games filling some of the gap.
Returning to play means making room for the enjoyment that brought him into the industry. GTA connects that ambition to games he remembers from childhood. The coming project gives him a reason to pick up that thread and share it with other people.
For anyone who knows him mainly through SNG, that helps explain the shift in perspective. The founder organising opportunities for others is also making space to be the person at the controller.
A home in Sicily, a place to spend time together
Sicily is the home Atle has chosen and a way of life he values. He also misses friends and family at times. In his preparation notes, streaming offers a shared place to play, laugh and stay connected.
That gives the broadcast a purpose beyond completing a campaign. Viewers will be following someone who wants to enjoy gaming again, from a place that is part of his everyday life.

The next preparation step is a simple introduction
The current plan is for Atle to record a vertical selfie video, speaking directly to the camera. Its talking points follow the same thread: years in gaming, missing playing, life in Sicily, the characters and an invitation to join him.
The intended style is conversational. A recognisable Sicilian background can help locate the story, while clear speech gives the viewer a chance to meet the person behind the artwork. The written prompts leave room for his own delivery.
This is a filming plan, with the finished recording and release still to be confirmed. The useful creative choice is already clear: give a newcomer enough personal context to understand why the next video or stream might matter to them.
Let the person and the characters tell different parts of the story
The Guru, The Gamer and the other personas give the campaign its fictional range. Real footage of Atle gives viewers another point of connection. The creative plan makes room for both, including future pieces that could move from a familiar character into an ordinary preparation moment.
Team Singularity’s public Twisty announcement describes Atle turning character ideas into watchable scenes. The next personal step brings those scenes back to their creator and the enjoyment that motivates him.
